Share Your Message with Tomorrow's Lahaina

Write a letter. Share a photo. Record your voice. Send aloha to the future.

This time capsule will preserve our community's spirit, stories, and dreams until August 8, 2043 - exactly 20 years after we began healing together. Choose if you wish to receive this message and share with friends, family and community.

How It Works

1. Create - Write, record, or upload your message here

2. Preserve - Safely stored until 2043

3. Deliver - Receive a SMS/email from you, your loved ones, and the Lahaina community if you wish.

What can I share?

Whether you are a kupuna who wants to leave a message to their ‘ohana or a supporter of Lahaina you can cast any letter, mele, photo or thought into the future for Lahaina. We accept:

  • Letters to the future - Your hopes, memories, and dreams
  • Photos that matter - Family moments, favorite places, meaningful images
  • Voice messages - Speak directly to tomorrow's community
  • Videos - Record your story for future generations
  • Audio files - Songs, recordings, sounds of home
  • Please note: We will not be including memorabilia in the capsule. However, you may submit an image of your items.
